I feel that the writing is very powerful. At the start of the book he begins to talk about the real story of David and Goliath and how in life there are many difficult obstacles that you have to overcome and I thought this was a very interesting start but also a great hook to pull in the reader, the language was easy to comprehend as well.

I believe the writing style is simple yet descriptive. The author is very descriptive when explaining her country's past and history so it is easy to follow and understand.

The writing in this book is very simplistic and easy to read for anyone. However, even though the book is easy to read, it is still written in a formal tone. The author's writing is informative and filled with logos and facts.

Dream new Dreams has an effective writing style in her book that is simple but detailed enough to understand struggles and the issues she faced when trying to handle the news of her husbands cancer and strategies they faced together to fight.

I've just finished the novel today and can say that Krakauer kept a consistent, romantic(in the same vein as Thoreau) tone. He focused on extreme detail when it came to nature and wilderness(as well as key individuals). Often his writing left a clear image of the location/person, almost as if I were looking at a photograph. As he wrote, Krakauer often seemed like a fond admirer to McCandless's journey rather than a biographer.

In the novel Into the Wild, John Krakauer uses professional and simplistic style, not layering his words with fluff and getting straight to the point. The writing is very effective with the subject matter, not slowing down the pace with unnecessary amounts of descriptors or mindless details.

The writing is fairly easy for me to read, the way it is wrote I am able to tell the tone it is being told in which is good. The writer uses words like "upkeep", "insight" and "endured".

In Quiet the author Susan Cain writes in a factual but clever style.

I Beat the Odds has a very easy to read tone, and a very formal style. The author explains things well without making it difficult to read.
